Time flows differently here. Chronomancy… time magic… does not have the predicted effect. It's all been a trap… a trap of my own creation.
I never should have sent you through the portal, <Hero>. But all we can do is go back through the portal! There's no sense to be found here.
After completing the 'The Blasted Time Portal' quest until the 'Cleric What, Why?' quest:
Who are you? How do you know my name? I've been trying to find a way out of this place! Away from all of this evil.
I'm being punished, you see. I was sent here for stealing time… but I was only stealing it from myself! There's a lesson for you, friend… no good can come from doom scrolling!
