At Sandsea Desert Entrance

This way leads out to the Sandsea Desert. Keep your wits up when you're there… Never know what you'll run into.

Desert Heat: Staying Hydrating and Setting Up Checkpoints
If I were you, I would fill up with water bottles before you go out into the desert. The desert heat will make you faint. You should also considered activating a checkpoint -- a blue stone floating atop a pedestal. You'll see them in safe areas across the desert. Activating one will enable you to return to its location on the chance that you faint in the desert.
