Greeting the Matriarch

You entered the tangle of thorns and before you lays a grand serpent with shining scales.

Ahhh what a lovely sight to awaken to. I welcome you to the Fruitwood Thicket.

Choosing your Egg

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

After many long years, my brood is finally ready to hatch. As it is the most fortuitous season I would offer up one of my offspring to follow and protect you on your journey. Perhaps they may grow to be the next Grand Serpent.

I see… I can sense this one will grow to be most magnificent!

• Pick your Egg x1

Warming the Egg

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

Fruitwood Hatchlings require a great deal of warmth in order to build enough strength to hatch. Take it to a place where the sun shines bright.
Return here using the Fruitwood Blossom plucked from my very own branches.

+ When Completed

The young one is awakening within its shell. The warmth has signaled that the time has come for it to emerge!

Items Required:

• Head to Sunny Isle x1
  • Enter Pointe Less Isle
• Warm your Egg x1
  • Click/tap on the sparkles next to Fruitwood Egg in Pointe Less Isle
    • Click/tap on a big beam of light to place Fruitwood Egg and it will stay for 1 minute

Rewards:

• Scaled Gold
• Scaled Exp

Collecting Nest Materials

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

Apologies little one, for my Thicket is currently sparse and not very comfortable. As I grow in years, the energy required to venture out has become considerable. Fortunately, Yokai Forest has all the materials needed to create a perfect nest for your Hatchling.

Ahh the smell of fresh leaves and soft wood from Yokai Forest. And you say you found some hay from a friend? Your Hatchling will be spoiled! *chuckle*

Items Required:

• Soft Branches x10
  • Click/tap on the sparkles near trees in Yokai Forest
• Big Leaves x10
  • Click/tap on the sparkles near ferns in Yokai Island
• Warm Hay x3
  • Click/tap on the sparkles near piles of hay in Aria's Pet Shop

Food for Baby

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

Fruitwood Hatchling start off small and can be picky with their diet. Pyreflies from the Dragon Graveyard region are small enough and full of magical energy to empower your Hatchling. And while it may sound gruesome. Blood Fairies contain the rich nutrients needed for a Fruitwood Hatchling to grow strong.

A lovely meal for your Hatchling! It will be easily enticed out of its shell at this rate!

Waiting to Hatch

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

In the back of the Thicket there is space for you to set up the nesting materials and meal for your Hatchling. I am curious as to how you would design your nest. *smiles*

Stretching Your Scales

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

The Hatchling should stretch its scales to gather enough strength to venture into the outside world. It is full of energy right now; one as nimble as you should have no trouble matching their energy!

It pleases me to see how healthy your Hatchling is. My scales grow weary as the years go on.

After such activity, it is best to have your Hatchling consume a meal. As you have already gathered all the nourishment it needs, why not spend time feeding your Hatchling?

Ahhh the closeness you can feel when sharing a meal. Your Hatchling is quickly taking to you!

I admit, I will miss the little one; but I am pleased that it will have a protector such as yourself, <Hero>. One last moment with your Hatchling before it leaves the Thicket and it will be prepared to journey with you.
