Alpha - Accounts that have participated in the "Alpha" testing phase of the game. Those who have participated in this phase were given a badge and access to an exclusive shop.
Area Effect (AoE) - This class skill affect multiple targets within a certain area.
B
Beta - Accounts that have participated in the "Beta" testing phases of the game. Those who have participated in this phase were given badges and certain items depending on the phase.
C
Channel - This class skill requires a brief time upon the completion of that action being performed. (i.e. Mage Meteor Volley).
Class Experience Points (Class XP) - Used to level up your classes. Earned by defeating monsters.
Crafting Items - These items are used in Craft Shops to craft certain items, such as Armors, Capes, and Weapons.

Deployable - This class skill has an animation active for a short time after casting. (i.e. Paladin Sanctify).
Dragon Crystals - Currency obtained by paying real cash, treasures chests or watching ads (mobile). Items that cost Dragon Crystals (DC) will be marked with "" tags on the Wiki.E
Experience / Experience Points (XP) - Used to level up your character. Earned by defeating monsters and completing most quests.

Frostval - AdventureQuest 3D's version of Christmas. Occurs every December.

Guardian - Players who have upgraded their accounts to become a Guardian, which allows them to access Guardian exclusive items, locations, and shops.

Health - The red bar on your Status bar. You will lose HP when you are attacked, hit by enemies or damaged by environment. Once you have reached 0 Health, you will "die" and then must wait for short time before respawning. Health can be regenerated by using potions, class skills, or disengaging from combat.

Kickstarter - Exclusive items or shops that are only available to those who have backed the AQ3D Kickstarter. Physical (Close Range) - This class skill engage targets at very short distance. (i.e. Ninja).
Public Test Realm (PTR) - This is a special server for players to test new releases in AQ3D. It can be accessed here.

Ranged - This class skill engage targets beyond hand-to-hand distance. (i.e. Pirate).
Rarity - Rarity is used to determine the exclusiveness and power of an item.
Removed - Anything that is COMPLETELY removed from the game and is not obtainable/accessible to anyone anymore.
Resources Pool:
- Mana - The blue bar on your Status bar. Mana will be consumed when using class skills that consume Mana. Mana will regenerate overtime, but will regenerate slower while in combat. Mana can be also be regenerated by using potions.
- Resources Points - The yellow bar on your Status bar. Resources will be consumed according to certain to descriptions given to the classes. Resources will regenerate when certain class conditions are met. Resources can also be regenerated by using potions.

Seasonal - Anything that is not obtainable/accessible to the general public, yet returns to the game every so often, usually yearly, during an event.
Special Offer - Exclusive items or shops that are only available to those who have participated in Special Offers or Live Events, such as giveaways and packages.
Spell - This class skill applies a Status Effect to a character or monster, without having any source of damage applied.
