The Fallen Guardian's journal tells an interesting tale…

Journal: Chapter 1
"The Guardians are failing. We mobilize strike forces to protect villages. We send cartloads of food and supplies to others… but it's never enough. We all took the oath and we know our purpose but people get hurt while we "focus on the big picture". They tell me that I can't help everyone but I know we could be doing more. We can't help the people of this world if we refuse to live in it, locking ourselves in our mighty tower, so I'm leaving. I know I can do more out there."

Journal: Chapter 2
"They are calling me the Fallen Guardian. I guess the name fits. I abandoned my post at the tower and my name as been struck from the Guardian Book but my powers… the Guardian Dragon's magic… hasn't left me. It makes me think that I'm on the honorable path. I miss my brothers and sisters but I'm finally DOING something."

Journal: Chapter 3
"The Seekers have been pursuing me. I get the impression that they thought taking out a solo Guardian would be less of a challenge than facing us as a group. They were not prepared for how resourceful a Fallen Guardian has to become to survive the dangers of Lore alone. They weren't expecting me to be so… brutal. This life is changing me. It's making me stronger but at what cost?"

Journal: Chapter 4
"Got burned pretty badly today. Just more scars. A group of trolluk raiders had taken a family heading to Lolosia to start their lives over. By the time I arrived, they had already killed the mother. I don't even know why. In my wrath I set their whole camp ablaze and slaughtered those who survived the fire. I managed to save the father and his three children but when he thanked me I saw no gratitude in his eyes. Only fear."

Journal: Chapter 5
"My armor is tarnished. People who used to look at my with hope now only shrink away in fear. I have helped so many people, as I set out to do, but I lost something along the way. I'm taking off this old armor that so many now fear. It will remain in my chest in an old skull in the Dragon Graveyard, unless the Defilers find it. If you want it, it's yours. Do justice to the title of Fallen Guardian. As for me, I'll find a better way to help people who need it."
