Meeting King Nautilus

Locations/Replays:

Aquella (Protector of Atlantis): King Nautilus, allow me to introduce <Hero>.
King Nautilus (King of Atlantis): And the reason this topsider hasn't been beheaded yet is…
Hero: Oof, tough crowd.
Hero: Greetings, your majesty. It is my pleasure to -
King Nautilus (King of Atlantis): BE SILENT!
King Nautilus (King of Atlantis): You have no right to address me as if you are welcome here!
Aquella (Protector of Atlantis): My King, <Hero> has proved <himself/herself> to be an ally to us.
Aquella (Protector of Atlantis): <He/She> helped fight off the Sea Ogres and led Atlantians who were astray in the Locker back to the city.
King Nautilus (King of Atlantis): And that redeems <him/her> of <his/her> sins?
Hero: What sins?
King Nautilus (King of Atlantis): Conspiring with those whose ancestors killed the Sea God.
King Nautilus (King of Atlantis): I am aware of the Pirate and the Ninja that you have traveled with…
King Nautilus (King of Atlantis): And that they are allowed to dock safely in our city.
King Nautilus (King of Atlantis): I cannot allow this act of defiance, Aquella.
Aquella (Protector of Atlantis): Pardon, my King. I did not want to act before speaking with you first.
King Nautilus (King of Atlantis): What is there to discuss? They are enemies; they should be dealt with immediately.
Hero: Hey! I'm not going to let you threaten my friends!
King Nautilus (King of Atlantis): And you will meet the same fate if you say another word in my chamber!
Aquella (Protector of Atlantis): My King, <Hero> has the two missing pieces of the Trident.
King Nautilus (King of Atlantis): Come again?
Aquella (Protector of Atlantis): They've come here to find the last piece of the Trident so they may rebuild it.
King Nautilus (King of Atlantis): And what do you plan to do with the Trident?
Hero:
King Nautilus (King of Atlantis): Well?
Aquella (Protector of Atlantis): <Hero>, say something!
Hero: The King said not to say another word! I'm just doing as told…
King Nautilus (King of Atlantis): For crying out loud… Speak! What is your business with the Trident?
Hero: I hope to use it to ensure the safety and prosperity of Yokai and Lolosia…
Hero: And to hopefully end the conflict between the Pirates and the Ninjas.
King Nautilus (King of Atlantis): And the end of their conflict requires me to help you fix the Trident, an object that never belonged to either side you wish to save…
Hero: Correct.
King Nautilus (King of Atlantis): Then I have to ask… What do I get out of this?
Hero: Well… What do you want?
King Nautilus (King of Atlantis): A better future for Atlantis.
Hero: Then help me put the Trident back together so that we can give Atlantis that opportunity.
King Nautilus (King of Atlantis): Very well, <Hero>. I will help you in your endeavor… And I will grant your friends safe harbor in my city… So long as they behave themselves.
Hero: That's great!
Hero: So, do you know where we can find the last piece of the Trident?
King Nautilus (King of Atlantis): As fare would have it, it's already in my possession.
King Nautilus (King of Atlantis): It's a prized heirloom, one that my family vowed to protect with our lives.
King Nautilus (King of Atlantis): I would not part with it so easily… But your words have given me perspective.
King Nautilus (King of Atlantis): I will offer it to you so we may unite the Trident.
Hero: Thank you, King Nautilus.
King Nautilus (King of Atlantis): But putting the pieces back together is a difficult task in itself.
King Nautilus (King of Atlantis): Are you up to that challenge?
Hero: I am.
King Nautilus (King of Atlantis): Then let us make the Trident whole again… For the good of Atlantis!
