NEW GAME FEATURE TO BE TESTED
We have implemeted item multi-stacking in this build:
-this means that stackable items can now be acquired in multiple stacks (this feature can be turned on or off for select items)
-what needs to be tested: items should stack up to their max stack and then create a new stack
-this should happen when items are acquired via loot, buying in shops, buying from DC shops, acquired from quests
-also to test: that items get SUBTRACTED from stacks and multistacks properly
-this should be tested when items are subtracted via selling, deleting, quest turnins
-multiple stacks should be able to be moved to and from the bank
PTRb2 Patch Notes:
-item stacks should merge properly now when moving stackable items in and out of the bank
-items over the max stack should now create a new stack below the first full stack; additional items will be added to the subsequent stacks until they reach max stack size and so on
PTRb4 Patch Notes (forgot to put up b3):

- Fix Smokestep not increasing Dodge percent
- Added placeholder sounds to Ninja
PTRb8 Notes
- Major update to the newest version of Unity!
* Please report any issues you see with maps looking funny or not loading, or any other odd problems
- Area of Effect abilities now deal 10% less damage or healing to their 2nd target, 20% less to their 3rd target, down to a minimum of 50% damage to their 6th or more targets.
* To compensate, AoE abilities have had their base power increased. The result should be that these spells do nearly the same or more damage to 3 or fewer targets, but less to a larger number of targets.
* Targets are damaged in order of highest aggro.
* Targets are healed in order of lowest percent health left.
- Warrior
* Whirlwind power: 90 -> 100

* Grand Summon: Big Bones attack stat lowered by ~13%.
- Guardian
* Bulwark: Defense boost 5% -> 10%
* Dragon's Breath: Damage dealt generates 50% more Aggro than normal.
PTRb10 Notes
- Whole mess of changes to Ninja 2.
* Now uses Energy as a resource
* Shuriken and Bomb Toss visually swapped
* Smokestep now decreases Aggro (not yet working) and grants some Energy
* Number changes all over the place
The intention here is to establish two primary rotations: Tempered Blades -> Wind Slash -> Shuriken -> Repeat as the damage rotation, and an occasional Smokestep -> Bomb Toss -> Poison Dagger rotation to refresh your energy, debuff the enemy, and apply a long Poison. Flowing between the two regularly should be the key element of playing well.
Numbers certainly still need tweaking, but I wanted to get the changes out before leaving for the day to see if this puts Ninja closer to being fun and interesting.
PTRb11 Notes
- Ninja Ultimate -> Thousand Cuts

* Paladin: Radiant Blade
* Dragonslayer: Final Descent
PTRb13 Notes

* Mechanics mostly unchanged
* Metal -> Earth
* Energy -> Fire
* Spirit -> Chi
* Element stance durations: 5 -> 3 seconds
* Aggro reduction from Smokestep now working
PTRb14 Notes
- We're trying some more drastic changes to combat to see if a stronger emphasis on aoe combat is more fun. None of this is balanced or guaranteed to stay, we want to see how it feels and go from there.

* Warrior Auto-Attack, Sever, and Earthbreaker are now hit all enemies in a cone

* Very early work-in-progress PvP map added. Again, this is very early. There are no objectives, no win conditions, etc. We will add those in time, but right now we want to test general PvP and see how things feel. We've also adjusted some general game mechanics in preparation for PvP.
* You can access the map from the top of the travel menu. It is a team map with a maximum of 6 players.
* PvP specific changes:
- Stats are fixed. Level and gear does not affect combat.
- All crowd control durations are halved.
- Evasion stat is set to 0. Spells such as Ninja's Smoke Screen still allow dodging.
- Ultimate Charge is reset to 0 when joining a PvP map.
- Players on same team always display names in white for clarity.
* General updates
- Movement speed is adjusted when strafing and moving backwards.
- Attacking now requires the target to be in front of you.
- Potion cooldowns have been increased to 45 seconds.
- "Far spell" ranges lowered slightly (Mage, Pirate, Necromancer)
- "Thrown spell" ranges lowered slightly (Dragonlance, Shurikens)

* General Settings organized
* New settings
- Invert X-axis
- Show Spell Errors
- Separated autorun into single target and aoe settings
* Camera automatically recenters vertically when moving
PTRb17 Notes
* This update focuses on further improving the camera and targeting. The big change is that the camera no longer jumps in front of every object, like small lamps or trees. The camera only moves when it actually runs into an object. This should make things much less jarring in many cases.
* Adjusted target lock to face target when intended.
* Removed cone targeting system. Enemies will now always be targeted by distance, with a preference for enemies the player is fighting.
PTRb18 Notes! Please clear your cache when going between PTR and Live
In testing now: New Quest Flow / Quest System Overhaul! (see details at: https://aq3d.com/news/newquestsystem/)
This new system is intended to help guide new players and to fix a few issues where a player could get lost or lose their current quest progress and not know how to get back.
This will also let new players know when there is new stuff offered in an area that they are entering and give them the OPTION of switching to the new Quest Chain (previously it would force you to switch as soon as you were in an area).
You will now also be able to keep a Quest tracked while going to any other map; previously Story Quests were only ever visible if you were in the appropriate area that was linked to the Story Quest (this is part of the overhaul).
As preparation for this testing phase:
-Characters have been set to Level 1 and will start back at Death's Intro
-All Quest progress has been reset
-Class Ranks are set back to 1
We'd love to hear your feedback! Let us know if the intended features are working as they should, or if you run into areas where the flow of quests gets confusing. Let us know about any places you get stuck (we are aware that there are currently some gaps in quest flow ex. Heartwood to Livingstone) and we will be addressing the content-related side of things at a later time
Current Build is available for PC only; OSX will be forthcoming
PTRb22 Notes! Don't forget to clear your cache when switching between PTR and Live
New Quest Flow fixes: Teleport feature has now been removed
Adjusted a few more quests to fill in gaps that will help guide players from Greenguard through to Doomwood
QUESTS ARE NOW LEVEL RESTRICTED Players will need to be within 3 levels of a Quest's set level in order to accept it. If a player enters an area where they do not meet this requirement, then the Story Quest will NOT be offered to them (will not appear in the Quest Tracker)
Currently this only applies to Story Quests; Side Quests / Repeatable Quests / Daily Quests have not been altered from what they currently are
Characters have been set to level 1 and back at Death's Intro
PTRb23 Notes Clear your cache when switching between PTR and Live
Moglomancer preview! Moglomancer is an area support class powered by calling on helpful Moglins.
Particle FX, sounds, icons, etc still work in progress.
Looking for feedback on gameplay, balance, and theme.
Duels are available to all players!
Initiate a duel by clicking a player's portrait and selecting "Start Duel"
or using the "/duel [player name]" command.
Twilly's Blessing will now be deactivated automatically if you run out of Mana
Starter pack and new In App Purchase store UI incoming!
Starter Packs become available after the end of the Battleon Quest chain; PTR purchases are enabled and will not charge you anything when testing the purchases
(also just a test, final items may be different)

* Summons now behave correctly in duels

* Known issues: Uses Necromancer image in class menu
PTRb30 Patch Notes Clear cache
* Area of Effect (AoE) Improvements
- This patch has a number of improvements to what we can do with AoE spells.
- AoEs can now be detached from Players/NPCs and left on the ground.
- AoEs can also have a duration, applying their effect repeatedly over time. We refer to these as "Auras."
* Testing new spells
- NPCs in Camp Gonnagetcha have a few new test spells. Use '/join campshrade' to test.
- Items with these spells can also be purchased from Dottie. They are infinite use.
- These aren't meant to be balanced or even useful, just to show off the potential and let us test new kinds of spells.
* Warrior's Whirlwind has been converted to an Aura spell. Thes means each hit is handled separately, allowing you to move in and out of range during the spell's duration.
* Moglomancer's Cross Skill has been converted to an Aura. It now remains on the ground, slowing and damaging targets while they stay in the area. In order to test this, Moglomancer is available to all players and gains 10x Class Exp.
Known Issues:
* The visuals are placeholders, just enough to show that they are working.
* Blizzy's VFX last much longer than the Aura does.
* Some aura projections are getting visually "stuck." Looking for a fix.
PTRb31 Patch Notes

- Tiers are not intended to indicate stronger or better classes
- Classes now show a "difficulty" rating to help new players
- Higher Tiers require more Class XP to rank up (20% for Tier 1, 40% for Tier 2)
* Berserker
- Now requires Warrior to be Rank 10
- If Berserker is already unlocked, it won't re-lock the class for you
- Animations updated, still WIP

* Fixed several silent errors
* Minor fix to bank search
Restart:
Collection items that were stored in the bank (Pets and Travel Forms) now correctly show up in inventory collections
PTRb39 Notes
* Ability to cast spells without a target
- Testing an experimental idea to be able to cast spells when no targets are around
- This is to make the game feel more responsive and fluid
- Currently all spells are castable
- We may restrict certain spells like Ultimates and Cross Skills to prevent accidental use
- If a target is nearby, you will still try to auto-target and run to the target if those options are enabled
- Let us know how this feels!

- Warrior Whirlwind and Moglomancer Blizzy's Blizzard Blitz have been switched to use Auras
* Dynamic Scaling
- We have a new system that scales enemies in dungeons to the number of players in the dungeon
- As players join or leave, enemy Health will adjust automatically

Rogue

PTRb63 Patch Notes
Note: The intention for class ranks is to be a long-term way to show off commitment to a class. We want to highlight your total rank as much as possible and provide options to show off along the way. Because this is intended to be long-term, we don't want to lock any class gameplay or power behind these additional class ranks. This is something that should happen as you play, not something you have to grind before you can play at your best.
Class Ranks Updates
- Updated Class XP curve
- Updated Total Rank presentation
- Adjusted Rank Up notification
- Updated max rank titles to "Legendary <class>"
- Adjusted Alpha Pirate (class skin) presentation

* Replaced spending Class Tokens on Class XP directly with Class XP Potions purchasable with tokens at Class Trainers
- These potions grant a 25% increase to Class XP for 20 minutes
- These potions do not stack with the potions available for Dragon Crystals
* Increased Class Tokens per rank up to 25
* Scaled mobs now give XP as if they were 1 level further away from the player
- Note: This is intended to encourage fighting mobs appropriate for your level
* Fixed an issue where full Class XP was given for mobs between 1 and 4 levels lower than you
* Fixed an issue where many scaled mobs had XP multipliers higher than intended
* Aligned the stars with math
Not present, but planned:
* We're planning to remove mob respawns in most dungeons over time as we apply level scaling. This is partly related to class ranks, but mostly because it fixes a number of issues. We want dungeons to push you forward as a small self-contained experience. Mob respawns cause issues with joining a dungone late, dying and tring to catch back up, and sometimes making it unclear what the dungeon's objective is. Note that in some dungeons respawns are part of the intended experience and we'll keep them in those cases.

* Please given any feedback you have about gameplay, visuals, sounds, balance, etc!
* Below are all the changes to each class compared to Live, bolded changes are new since the last PTR update.
Warrior
Goals: Make the class more of a bruiser, and add more decision-making to which spell should get the damage bonus from the passive.
* War Cry (Passive)
- Is now a resource, Fury. Every spell grants 25 Fury, at 100 Fury, your next spell activates War Cry

* Leylines (Passive) - Increases Haste by 10%
* Fireball - Cast repeatedly to build Fire Aspect, increasing damage. Every third cast launches a powerful exploding fireball.
* Ice Spear - Cast repeatedly to regain Mana and build Ice Aspect, increasing Cast Speed. Every third cast launches a conjured lance of ice at your foe, Slowing and dealing Frost damage over time.

- Objects are now able to use current rotation, scale, and position for dynamic interactions - see Trollenstein's saw blades, which move up, left/right, down, right/left (opposite of previous direction)
Noticeable places are Trollenstein's Lab, Fleshette's Nightmare, Battleon Sewers, Son of Braken, ShradeX and many more.

As a result of this change, equipment that comes from these Dungeons (either drops or crafted) will no longer be scaled. These changes are expected to be slowly rolled out over the next few updates. (Item Levels may be subject to change as these updates go Live)
Our goal in this is for players to play newly unlocked content (for their Level) in order to obtain the newest gear for their Level.

PTRb96 Patch Notes
Healer and Support Classes
A preview of Healer is now available! We are still working on animations, particle effects, icons, sounds, and overall balance, but we wanted to get some early feedback with what we have so far!
We also are planning a few small updates to Support classes in general, which currently includes Paladin and Moglomancer, to make sure each class feels unique and brings something different to a party. We'll also use this time to update the feel and balance of these classes.
Overall, we want Support classes to feel powerful and useful in a group, and always appreciated when you join a party as one. On the other hand, we don't want the game to be balanced around Supports to the point that they're absolutely necessary in all situations to succeed. This is okay in certain Challenge Dungeons, but we don't want it to be true everywhere.
General Fixes and Updates
- When selecting Cross Skills, they are now listed in the same order as your classes menu
- Names in party portraits are limited to 1 line

Healer and Support Classes
Healer VFX are almost finished, and several icons have been added! Remaining VFX, icons, and SFX are planned to be finished next week.
Paladin, Moglomancer, and Guardian have some experimental changes in this PTR. These aren't necessarily final, and we're looking for feedback to see if these changes are in the right direction. See the last PTR notes for some of our thoughts on where we want these classes to be. We also took this chance to adjust Mana usage and Area of Effect (AoE) sizes across these classes. In general AoEs are much larger, and you should have more control over Mana usage.
Healer
- Increased window to cast Unleash
- Increase ultimate buff duration from 6 to 8 seconds
- Increased duration of Presence of Mind from 6 to 8 seconds. Increased cooldown from 30 to 35 seconds.
General Fixes and Updates
- Party spell UI now shows spells correctly when changing maps
- Adjusted party member display when member is in a different map or offline
Paladin
We want to push Paladin more into an area damage role with single target support abilities. It should feel like an aggressive off-healer.
- Auto-Attack
* No longer gains consumes stacks of Ardent Virtue for extra damage
- Radiant Blade
* Can now consume a stack of Ardent Virtue, removing the Mana cost and dealing damage in an area around the target
* Slight increase to normal Mana cost
* Slight reduction to damage
- Sanctify
* Increased range from 8 to 15
* Now applies an aura to the target, healing the target and dealing damage to nearby enemies. Overall heal/damage increased
- Holy Shield
* Increased range from 8 to 15
* Damage reduction increased from 25% to 35%
* Increased damage reflected when hit
* Increased Mana recovered when hit
* No longer has a maximum number of "hits" before disappearing
* Duration lowered from 9 to 6s
- Divine Judgement
* Removed Mana cost
- Holy Bolt
* Slightly lowered damage
* Now heals over time. Total healing unchanged.
* Heal range increased from 10 to 15
Moglomancer
Moglomancer needed a lot of love, and might still need more. We're still considering a number of other options, but would love feedback on how it feels after this round of changes. Moglomancer should be a mix between supporting your teammates and controlling your enemies.
- Zorbak's Bane
* Increased damage dealt by Auto-Attack
* Cooldown increased from 6 to 8s
* Now increases Crit Chance of 5 nearby allies by 35%
* Buff radius increased from 5 to 20

* Instead of applying a Burn, now dramatically lowers enemy Haste
- Blizzy's Blizzard Blitz
* Lowered total Attack Power from 250% to 125%
* Increased Slow from 50% to 75%
Guardian
We have temporarily granted all players access to Guardian for feedback purposes. While not a Support class, we felt this was a good opportunity to update Guardian to stay in line with our new design philosophies. Overall we want Guardian to be a sustain tank with group utility.
- Guardian Strike
* No longer costs Mana while at full Guardian Marks
* Gains damage at rank 6 instead of lower Mana cost
- Dragon's Breath
* Now only consumes Guardian Marks at max stacks
* AoE is now longer and slightly wider
* Slight increase to Mana cost
- Guardian's Hope
* Now only consumes Guardian Marks at max stacks
* Base self-heal increased from 5.5% to 10% Heal Power
* Below max Guardian Marks, no longer heals nearby allies
* At max Guardian Marks, now creates an aura that heals up to 5 allies for 10% Heal Power over the duration
* Slight increase to Mana cost
- Guardian Summon
* Removed Mana cost
* Armor Up increased from 20% to 30%
* Armor Up buff radius increased from 10 to 20
* Armor Up can now affect a maximum of 5 allies

Infusion
Infusion is the new item upgrade system accessible at Cysero. Infusion upgrades item Power and Stats.
Items below Max Level can be upgraded and only requires Gold.
Items at Max Level can be upgraded with Infusion Runes and the latest regional Capstones.
For testing, Runes and Capstones can be purchased directly from Cysero in Battleon. Prices are free for this testing duration.
Items have an individual Infusion cap, which is the maximum number of times that item can be Infused. This is indicated by the new "Infusion" icon that is shown in the Item Description. Items below max level will always have a cap of 20. Items at the max level will have an increasing Infusion cap as new gear comes out over time.
You can also extract the Runes you've spent on max level items and get them back to upgrade your newer gear. This process costs Gold and will reset your item back to its base Power.
For Infusion we have raised the level cap to 35 and introduced Sandstorm Capstones. In Battleon Social District there's an XP Elemental to level up quickly to 35 for testing purposes.
Healer and Support Classes
We'll have another update hopefully coming this week that will adjust these classes based on your feedback. Today just includes some smaller fixes.
- VFX added for Healer Ult and Cross Skill
- Various Healer animation and VFX adjustments
- Blizzy's Blizzard Blitz now correctly slows by 75% instead of 50% (we have plans to adjust this skill, but they aren't ready just yet)
- Paladin Sanctify now properly heals your target
General Fixes and Updates
- Necromancer summons no longer have scaled HP in dungeons
- Summons will now be hit by heals/buffs without counting against the maximum number of targets
PTRb99
A sneak peek of Sandsea part 3 is available! Assist Skiffmaster Squint and see what you uncover in the dunes... Let us know if find any issues or bugs with this encounter!
Paladin
We feel really good about the direction Paladin is moving, and feel it just needs some number tweaks at this point. Overall we increased Paladin's healing a bit to compensate for the change to healing over time, and lowered its damage a bit due to its new AoE potential.
- Sanctify
* Slightly increased healing
* Slightly lowered damage dealt
- Holy Shield
* Lowered damage reduction from 35% to 30% (still up from original 25%)
* Lowered reflect damage slightly (still up from original)
- Holy Bolt
* Lowered amount of time to receive the full heal from 8 to 6s
Moglomancer
We are still planning some more changes to Moglomancer, but felt comfortable getting this one out today.
- Blizzy's Blizzard Blitz
* Now applies a stacking slow. At max stacks, the next hit from this spell will Freeze the target.
Guardian
We also feel good about Guardian being a proper tank, so we made a few changes to help out, as well as trying out another change to Guardian Marks to give more choices about how to spend them.
- Bulwark Passive
* Increased damage reduction from 10% to 15%
- Guardian Marks
* Max stack increased from 10 to 15
- Guardian Strike
* Mana cost removed at 10 Guardian Marks or more
- Dragon's Breath
* Increased aggro generation bonus from 200% to 300%
* Now consumes up to 10 Guardian Marks for extra damage
- Guardian's Hope
* Self heal increased slightly.
* Now consumes up to 10 Guardian Marks for a secondary heal on 5 nearby allies. Secondary heal increases with the amount of Guardian Marks consumed.
Known Issues: Guardian Hope telegraph is currently getting stuck after cast, and the description is showing incorrect information.
Infusion
Overall we significantly reduced the gold costs for Infusion. For max level items, we also moved the gold cost from Infusion itself to the crafting of Infused Runes. This means that transferring Runes to new items doesn't require repaying the full amount to Infuse.
- Daily Tasks now correctly gives 10 Inert Runes
- Infusing
* For max level items, gold cost was moved from Infusion to the crafting of Infused Runes and was reduced overall
* For max level items, updated the number of runes needed per Infusion
* Gold cost for Infusing non-max level items significantly reduced
- Extracting
* Gold cost significantly reduced
* Extraction gives the correct number of runes
* Extraction no longer requires a relog to see runes received

* Now grants damage reduction instead of Armor Up
* Lowered mana cost on initial cast from 200 to 100

* Instead, you punt the last Moglin summoned, helping allies inside the blast.
* Zorbak: Strengthen
* Twilly: Heal
* Twig: Haste Up (Haste + Run Speed)

- The Armor Break debuff (from spells like Rend and Dark Decay) now also affects the target's current Protection, making it effective both against high Armor, and against Protection buffs
PvP Spells
Our goal with PvP Spells is to ensure they have an impact when used, but aren't available to be used in every single fight.
- All PvP Spells can now be cast off the Global Cooldown (GCD)
- Recover
+ Cooldown 30 ➔ 60s
- Dash

- Swiftcast
+ Cooldown 15 ➔ 45
+ Cast speed bonus 80% ➔ 90%
+ Duration 3 ➔ 8s
Warrior
The change to Whirlwind is intended to push Warrior to being more of the bruiser we intend it to be. It is now easier to reach full stacks, and each stack should provide significantly more damage reduction.
- Sever
+ Width 90 ➔ 120 degrees
- Whirlwind
+ Max stacks 20 ➔ 12
+ Each stack gives +2% Armor ➔ +2 Protection
+ Now immune to CC for the duration

- Toxic Surge
+ Max Power 150% ➔ 220%
Healer

- Rain of Arrows
+ Radius 4.25 ➔ 5
- Bloodthorn Trap
+ Radius 2.5 ➔ 3.5
- Arcane Archery
+ Arrow explosion radius 3.5 ➔ 4

+ Defense 30% ➔ 25%

PTRb13 Patch Notes

--- PVP ---
We wanted to make a few small adjustments to some overperformers in PvP. The next update to live will include a ton of extra tracking we can look at to make more adjustments in the future based on winrates and similar data.
- Swiftcast
* Cast Speed 70% ➔ 40%
- Moglomancer PvP Buff
* Max Health +20% ➔ +0%
--- BATTLE FEAST ---
We've made a number of adjustments to the map and its food pickups based on your feedback that the match feels too chaotic. These changes are intended to emphasize decision-making and improve the overall flow of the map. Keep up the civil discussion so we can make this map a fun new addition to PvP.
- Adjusted layout around Zones A and C
- Zones A and C now take roughly twice as long to capture
- Lobster pickup now only resets cooldowns of your class skills and cross skill. No longer resets cooldown of PvP Skills.
- Added CC immunity to Pie pickup's speed boost
--- RECALL SPELL ---
We've added a new spell for PvP that is always on your hotbar to return to your base and fully heal after a short channel. We wanted to provide an option after winning a fight with low health, instead of being left with the feeling that your next fight will be a guaranteed loss. You will have to give up your position on the map, so we hope this adds an extra element of strategy to PvP.
PTRb14 Patch Notes

-- New Siege PvP Mode --
We have a new game mode coming out for PvP: Siege. Fighting for the Legion or the Paladin Order, the objective is to fight your way through the enemy's turrets to take down their Leader, while defending your own.
By delivering the final blow to enemy mobs, turrets, or players, you will gain a stack of Fervor, granting up to 40% extra Attack and Max Health if you reach a full 20 stacks. Don't rush in blindly, though -- dying costs 2 stacks each time. There are also three crystals that respawn in key locations that will immediately grant 5 Fervor for picking them up. Without Fervor, attacking a turret or Leader will be much more difficult.
Win the day by reaching 750 points with your team. You will gain 1-5 points for defeating enemy mobs or players, 75 points for each turret you destroy, and will instantly win if you can defeat the other team's Leader. Every 4 minutes, Elite mobs worth 30 points will spawn to help you push towards victory. If neither Leader is defeated after 10 minutes, the team with the most points will be declared the winner. Good luck!
-- Other Changes --
- Siege has replaced the previous Legion vs Paladin map and is now available by queueing for PvP
- All previous Legion vs Paladin quests have been removed, and all relevant rewards will be moved to the PvP shop
- Siege is temporarily the only PvP map available

-- Classes --
We're currently doing some passes to make combat feel better and more exciting. The following class changes are the first round; we intend to make more in the future. These are not strictly intended as buffs or nerfs, even though some may work that way. The main goal is to make the classes feel more powerful or satisfying. We're also targeting anything that has hidden or unclear power, and trying to make it more obvious.
Warrior
Adds a bit of sticking power to Warrior, and should pair well with Whirlwind.
- Earthbreaker (Ultimate)
* Now slows all enemies near the target
Rogue
We're speeding up Poison application, and adding a bit of mobility to their ultimate.
- Auto Attack
* First two combo hits now also apply Poison
* Combo cooldown 0.4/0.4/0.8 → 0.65/0.65/1
* Combo Power 15/15/20 → 10/10/15
- Venom Dance
* Now dashes to the target and briefly stuns them
Guardian
Dragon's Breath should be much easier to hit targets with, and Guardian Summon should open up more combo opportunities.
- Dragon's Breath
* Width 3.5 → 5
- Guardian Summon
* Now grants maximum stacks of Guardian Marks
* Removed Armor Up
Ranger
We're making the move speed from Focus more noticeable, and moving some of the quiet damage from their Trap to Empowered Shot.
- Focus
* At 100 Focus, next Auto Attack grants 30% → 50% Move Speed
- Empowered Shot
* Power 110 → 150
- Bloodthorn Trap
* Removed Poison
Dragonslayer
This should add some utility to Dragonslayer and make Shatterscale more useful to Empower.
- Empowered Shatterscale
* Now a guaranteed Critical Hit
* Now applies Armor Break instead of ignoring defense
Pirate
We're attempting to reduce some of the randomness of Pirate while providing some strategic options. Since these changes should make it more consistent, we're leveling the damage out to compensate.

* Your final bullet always refreshes Bullet Storm's cooldown
- Bullet Storm
* Your final bullet always triggers Flak Shot
* Power 145 → 130
- Flak Shot
* Power 180 → 165
- Feathered Doom
* Snare is now applied immediately
* Charge time 0.5 → 0.25s

- Moglin Reach → Moglin Zeal (Passive)
* Now briefly increases Attack Speed after casting a Moglin spell
- Zorbak's Bane
* Critical Chance +35% → 100%
* Duration 4.5 → 3s
- Moglin Punt
* Reduced global cooldown after finishing the cast

Dragonslayer

Ranger
The last changes unintentionally brought Rangers damage down so we are adding some power

Shatterscale
- Empowered Armor Break duration 6 seconds -> 4 seconds
- Description now shows Armor Break details
--PvP Skills--
Swiftcast has become a clear issue among the PvP Skills. It created many negative interactions and we've resolved to remove it. With this removal we are looking to explore new ideas and make the game feel more centered around interacting with your opponents' decisions and abilities and less on shutting people down.
[NEW] Fester
"We wanted to give players a way to interact with opponents who focus on healing."
- Reduce incoming healing and deal damage over time.
"PvP Skills were also lacking options for team-focused utility, so we added Rush and Mend!"
[NEW] Rush
- Create an area in front of the caster that speeds up allies.
[NEW] Mend
- Heal the lowest health Ally nearby.
Block
"Feedback shows that Block clearly needed a boost in power so we are trying something new with it. We are hesitant to add movement to Block for fear that it would remove too much strategy surrounding it."
- Now deals 50% Power when hit by non-Auto-Attack spells to the attacker
Dash
"Bringing Dash's speed to the same level of Disengage simply to standardize movement abilities."
- Matched speed of movement with Disengage
[REMOVED] Swiftcast
"Swiftcast has had a notorious lifetime. PvP Skills are created in order to solve a problem that is unique to the player vs. player experience, and Switftcast simply wasn't solving a problem that needed to be solved. In addition, Swiftcast created several situations in which one player could defeat another without any degree of interaction. Moving forward we will be working to avoid this."

Oracle Class
The long awaited Oracle class is a dps support class, dealing lots of AOE damage while also supporting the team with debuffs and slows. By itself the Oracle is a fierce foe, but on a team the Oracle is near unstoppable!
Passive
Malefic Visions
Dealing damage with an ability applies Bad Omen, stacking up to 5 times.
2 Ability
Cosmic Shadow
Target an enemy and channel their cosmic energy into a beam dealing damage to them and those behind them.
3 Ability
Reset Variance
Deal damage to a single target. If it kills, reset ALL your cooldowns.
(Does not give full ult charge on kill)
4 Ability
Time Vortex
Summon Time Vortex that repeatedly slows and deals damage to all enemies inside.
Ultimate
Threads of Fate
Channel for a few seconds to cut your targets current health in half. This fully stacks Bad Omen and the damage is reduced to 10% against bosses.

Notes to clear some things up!
1) Will Oracle be a starter class?
No, the Oracle is only a starter class on PTR so that players can immediately start testing it
2) The passive in game says "Ley Lines" but here you say Malefic Visions, which is it?
Malefic Visions is the passive. Passives work a little wonky and are often baked into the skills code-wise, as is the case with this class. We originally put the mage passive in as a stand in so that it wouldn't error out during testing. This will be updated next build.
3) What is the cross skill?
We are still experimenting with cross skills, there is not a cross skill to test currently on PTR.
4) Are all the animations/skill icons final? A lot of them look barrowed from Ranger.
No, they are not final. During development we do a lot of copying skills and using them as a base to edit instead of building the skills completely from scratch. The skills on PTR for oracle were built this way as well. The skill icons will be changed and animations will change also, specifically the animation for Reset Variance. It is currently using the rain of arrows animation, and that will be changed before release.

A lot of these changes are highly experimental and we are going to revert them if need be. Many of the changes are focused around amplifying the fun in the starter classes. We will be monitoring these closely
