Hardened Obsidian

Hello <Hero>! What brings you out to Ashfall?
Hmmm… Yulgar sent you to find some heat resistant ore? Well, we DragonSlayers have been experimenting with additives to the local Obsidian Ore. It requires some Volcanic Bone Ash which boosts its heat resistant properties. If you find some, we can melt it together with some Obsidian Ore to create the Hardened Obsidian.

+ When Completed

Excellent! This should be plenty enough to make the Ore. You can use the implements around the camp to create the Hardened Obsidian.

• Collect Volcanic Bone Ash x20
  • Dropped by Charred Undead (Level 14)

Rewards:

• Scaled Gold
• Scaled Exp

Tempered Obsidian

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

Now to temper the Hardened Obsidian we'll need to super heat our forge. Luckily we are stationed right at the base of one of the hottest locations on Lore! Local creatures should have the fuel that we need. Bring the fuel back and we'll be able to start smelting!
