Greetings! Did you see my posting? Thanks for coming! I'm visiting the Arcangrove Tower and hoping to get approval for some studies. Most mages come here to speak to the council to get approval for their research.
I am in the process of collecting evidence, and the Arcangrove Library is the best place to start!

Oh! Welcome to the Arcangrove Library! Whyl did come to me and asked for some reading materials related to her studies… I'd love to help but I seem to have dropped my lunchbox on my way here this morning! I can't leave my post, but can you please help me look for it? I was so looking forward to Vesta's treats…

Vesta's Treats

Whyl was looking for some books related to the passage of time and any strange occurences or things out of the ordinary. I found some more books that mention the topic if you want to check them out.

Sands of Time

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

My research has to do with the passage of time and I've been experimenting with ways to… tweak it. I have managed to create some scenarios to hasten and almost skip time ahead! I needed more information though…
Many of these texts refer to the Pharaoh Sekt in Sandsea. While he did not alter time specifically, it seems as though he has found a way to extend his own life spawn and the area surrounding him seems to have some strange fluctuations. It's like time is somehow *slower* there.

Hmmmm yes, this sand does seem to vibrate on a slightly altered frequency… Wonder what would happen if I used this in an hourglass?

The Flow of Time

On the surface, this looks relatively normal… but when let's see what happens when I include it in my experiments. I'm hoping to reverse engineer the effects in order to boost the results that I'm looking for! Try out some of this gear and see how it works for you.

I'm very happy with the results so far! I just found some more notes from the Sandsea region. It seems that there has been a spellcaster who has been doing unsanctioned experiments of her own… Her brews are known to be extremely powerful. I think a sample of that could boost these effects even more!

Hidden Phylacteries

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

We need to get some more… *samples* from the more prominent figures in the area. I know Sekt experimented with creating his own phylacteries. Some others may be hidden further underground so you might need to do some digging! I bet we'll find some residual evidence on these samples!

    • To enter Hidden Alcove, you must click/tap on the sparkles near a rock wall in Hidden Tomb on the other side of a broken chamber wall during this quest after completing the previous objectives
    • Living Burial Pile spawns after clicking/tapping on 3 sparkles in Hidden Alcove
