Greetings <Hero>. In my time in this broken world, I've discovered something interesting. A strange staff that seems to be quite inert right now. But, I think I can restore it's power through a combination of elemental energies from this real and our own. To start, I'd like you to gather some Cursed Flame Essence.

This is a great start, but I'll need more essence before I can truly restore power to this strange staff.

Essence of Corrosive Soot

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

Next on our list of elemental essences would be the Essence of the Corrosive Soot Elementals.

The third corrupted elemental essence we need is that of the Toxic Smog Elementals that wander this shattered world.

That just leaves us with the task of gathering Acid Rain Essence.

Essence of Acid Rain

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

The final corrupted elemental essence we need belongs to the Acid Rain Elementals.

That's perfect, now we just need elemental energies from our own realm, <Hero>.

Essence of Earth

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

The first elemental essence we should go after is that of Earth. <Hero>, head to the World Tree and gather the essence of the elementals located there.

That's one down, now we just need fire, water, and air.

  • Dropped by Mad Earth Spirit

Essence of Fire

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

Now that we have some Essence of Earth I believe we should go after the Essence of Fire.

That leaves two more! Water and Air.

The Air Spirits at the World Tree should provide us with the essence required to restore the staff.

Well done, <Hero>! This staff seems to have the ability to shatter the barrier between worlds… We could probably find multiversal shards off the creatures in Darlic's Domain to create alternate versions of the Staff of Shattering.
